Solar power has been given a bad reputation in the last number of years. Due to the failure of some of the ‘green’ companies involved in solar, combined with the general public attitude that solar is strictly for the extreme environmental enthusiasts, the solar industry has suffered the slings and arrows of a non-focused industry.

All of this is changing now, thanks to an increase in higher efficiency solar panels using the Chinese voltaic cells, the reduction in size and abilities of solar energy and the increased interest from the business world.

Solar energy is currently experiencing a resurgence and many of us that started out with ecology banners as a youth that continued to carry them, are relieved to see this renaissance change. The dream of solar energy at reasonable costs and size for homes and businesses may now be a reality.
