Superstorm Hurricane Sandy landed with a vengeance, destroying property and lives in an event that hasn’t happened in over one hundred years. Beyond just life changing situations, this video offers some data that shows the longer term effect of the devastation. Each and every one of us will suffer in one way or another from Sandy. Beyond just the immediate repair and rebuilding, the effect on the growth of the economy, oil and gas prices, infrastructure and even insurance costs may cause a spiral that will be felt for many years to come. Although it’s hard to believe that anything so catastrophic could offer a positive spin, this video does add a ray or two of hope for some.
