It’s no secret that Mitt Romney supports oil drilling in the U.S. Romney has many supporters, including on the financial side, that simply want to alter our dependency on foreign oil and switch it to dependency on consistent and environmentally fatal drilling within America’s borders. The rather scary scenario that is being presented is that Romney wants to open all doors and regulations and allow the states to drill as much as possible.

Very little attention is being paid to or given by Romney on sustainable or renewable energy sources. Instead, his campaign seems to be quite the opposite. The oil and gas companies are big supporters of the Romney side, as they are the ones that are going to win.

It seems that if there world is to win, all aspects of energy should be examined, with a balance of reduction of drilling and a focus on renewable and sustainable energy. However, that doesn’t seem to be the focus of Mitt Romney or his backers.
